Short program for foreign students

Short program Introduction

The short-term program for international students at Sahmyook Health University is held during the summer and winter vacations and focuses on Korean language learning and cultural experiences. The program lasts from two to four weeks and consists of Korean language classes, traditional cultural experiences, field trips, and various activities to help participants understand Korean society.

Educational Content

Intensive Korean language classes : Korean language classes are offered at various levels, from beginner to advanced, to improve participants' Korean language skills.

Korean cultural experiences : Participants can experience Korean culture firsthand through various cultural activities such as traditional food making, hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) experiences, and traditional Korean art performances.

Field trips : Participants visit major tourist attractions and historical sites in Seoul to learn about Korean history and culture.

Understanding Korean society : Participants learn about the Korean education system, social structure, and various issues in modern society.

Eligibility and application process

Eligibility : International students currently enrolled in universities worldwide with a basic understanding of Korean.

Selection Process : Submit an online application form and undergo a brief interview.

Required Documents : Copy of passport, enrollment certificate, Korean language proficiency certificate (if applicable).

Program Costs and Support

Program Costs : Includes tuition, textbook fees, and cultural experience expenses.

Support : Dormitory accommodation and some cultural experience activity costs are provided.

Participant Expenses : Meals, personal expenses, and airfare are the responsibility of the participant.

Program Schedule

Summer ProgramHeld from mid-July to early August each year.

Winter Program Held from late December to early January each year.
