The Korean language Education Institute is a specialized educational institution established to promote and disseminate Korean language education and introduce Korean culture to international students in line with the rising call for internationalization, and to provide various opportunities for foreign language learning for students at Sahmyook Health University.
By establishing a systematic curriculum that reflects the linguistic needs of learners in line with the trend of the times, alongside highly efficient textbooks, and deploying professional instructors, we expect very high performance and satisfaction from our students.

Level Content Level 1 Learning the most basic daily Korean such as greetings, self-introduction, shopping, ordering food, asking for directions, and making appointments. Level 2 Understanding and expressing familiar daily topics such as family, hobbies, travel, transportation, banking, and dining. Level 3 Understanding and expressing common social topics such as occupations, personality, romance, object descriptions, incidents, impressions, and school life. Level 4 Understanding and expressing comprehensive social topics such as family, workplace, performances, service industry, customs, environment, and education. Level 5 Understanding and expressing expanded social topics such as politics, economy, society, culture, and international issues. - Applicant’s name (spelling) and date of birth must match the passport.
- Additional documents may be requested during the review process.
- Applicants deemed not capable of academic study will be rejected regardless of quota.
- Admission will be cancelled and fees forfeited if submitted documents are found to be falsified.
- Application documents will not be returned under any circumstances, except for visa change purposes.
- If the Korean government denies the visa, admission will be cancelled and tuition (excluding application fee) will be refunded.
- Dual enrollment at other institutions is prohibited; tuition refund on withdrawal follows school regulations.
- Applicant is responsible for any disadvantages due to incorrect contact information.
- Bank transfer fees are borne by the student; any exchange rate differences will be settled after admission.
- A health examination report (including hepatitis B and tuberculosis tests) must be submitted within 15 days after admission.
- International student medical insurance certificate must be submitted within one month after admission.
