Sahmyook Health University Signs MOU with Korean Cultural Center in Hungary… Strengthens Cooperation to Promote Korean Language and K-Culture Sahmyook Health University (President Park Joo-hee) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation with the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary, located in Budapest, Hungary, on October 28 (local time). The agreement includes the following key provisions: △Joint operation and support of Korean language education programs for Hungarian students, △Joint planning and hosting of academic and cultural events related to the Korean language and culture, △Exchange of personnel, educational materials, and information, △Other cooperative matters deemed necessary by both institutions. Through this agreement, both institutions aim to build a sustainable partnership amid the expansion of K-culture and pursue mutual growth. The agreement was signed in the names of the heads of both institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by Director Yoo Hye-ryeong of the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary and Director Joo Hyun-jae of the AI Future Planning Office, representing President Park Joo-hee. Furthermore, both sides agreed to collaborate on systematically educating Hungarians in the Korean language and culture. To this end, Sangmyung University of Health Sciences will offer discounted tuition at its Korean Language Institute to students recommended by the Korean Cultural Center. The Korean Cultural Center will actively promote Sangmyung University of Health Sciences' programs for international students through its official website and other channels. Joo Hyun-jae, Director of the AI Future Planning Office, stated, “This agreement is part of our university's Connect 120 initiative and holds significant meaning as it establishes a foothold for our expansion beyond Asia into Europe.” Meanwhile, Sanguk University of Health Sciences and the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary also agreed to explore jointly planning and operating a K-Beauty program, including a hair show, in Budapest next summer. 2025.11.12
